Solar N More Power Philippines

With MGTEK solutions, realizing projects future-proved, flexibly and economically.
Drawing energy from the power grid during peak hours is extremely expensive, even just for a little bit of energy. The principle behind a battery storage system is that when rates are at peak pricing during the day, the system owner can draw from the battery storage unit instead of from the grid, then pull from the grid again as the rates go down. The battery storage unit can also be recharged during "off peak" pricing thus levelized the cost of energy even further. In addition, when the "grid" goes down, these battery storage units act as backup power, keeping necessary appliances and electronics running.
Wind and solar systems with integrated battery solutions either feed the power generated from renewable power source into an electrical system in the home and into the battery system for self-consumption improvement or into the grid. Energy storage allows the flexibility to use the generated power when needed, rather than only when it is being created. A system with an integrated storage solution lets owners use more of the energy, its wind and solar energy produced, thereby reducing the reliance on electricity from the grid and lowering the system owner’s energy bill and bigger chances of not paying bills anymore through proper assessment and design. MGTEK helps out, schedule an APPOINTMENT today.
In a standalone system, only about 30% of the produced electricity can be consumed on site, while the addition of a storage system can increase self-consumption to 70% or more.
In a grid-connected configuration, the inverter typically acts as the main control point with an integrated storage system as it manages the interaction between the battery, solar panels, utility grid and the consumer. In order to achieve this, energy storage systems prioritize self-consumption versus grid injection.
The energy flow between the system, loads, battery and the utility grid is managed by a central control unit, which is usually integrated into the inverter. Before the device can decide where the energy is needed at any particular moment, it needs to collect the necessary information. The inverter needs to know the amount of energy stored in the battery and available to the user in order to minimize the energy purchased from the utility. To assess the effectiveness of the energy flow management, the central control unit also acquires data from the owner's grid power meter. Combining all the intelligence, the inverter is able to determine the proper use of the battery and implement a basic load management.

The nameplate rating on a battery is the fully developed capacity. Therefore, testing a battery immediately after it is purchased is misleading. Since, it may take up to 100+ cycles for it to reach its full capacity. Beware of a battery that promises full capacity at the time of purchase or one that reaches full capacity after only a few cycles. Batteries with a 100+ cycle warm-up will always outlast a battery touting a high initial capacity. MGTEK never reserves the TRUTH.
